Play! Pokémon Reopening Information by Region

Last updated: August 02, 2022

The Play! Pokémon program has begun returning to in-person events in selected regions. Here, you will find a list of regions/countries where Pokémon League and Prerelease in-store events are currently allowed. Please note that for now, only Play! Pokémon events that do not reward Championship Points will take place.

Events in regions not on this list remain suspended, but we will consistently review all regions so we can determine where and when more live events can take place. The health and safety of our community is our top priority. While we understand many are eager to resume local-level play, we continue to evaluate mandates, guidelines, and recommendations from appropriate health and government agencies for when it is safe to do so. Around the beginning of each month, if certain regions will be allowed to resume League play, we will update the list on our re-opening page. Organizers and Play! Pokémon Stores in re-opened regions will also be contacted by email at that time.

The online Play! Pokémon programs such as Team Challenge and League at Home continue to be available to eligible players in all participating regions.
